Mustang Emblem

So, I am just uploading a photo from the other night because I am completely sick of technology for the day and I REALLY do not feel like messing with it. I have a headache and I am ready to go to bed. But, anyways, this is just a photo of the side view of my car taken with the 50mm lens. Its a really simple photo but I like it. The shutter speed was 1/1600 of a second, f/1.4, and the 50mm lens. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please come back tomorrow for another photo and don't forget to follow! Bye!

Fast Lights in Black and White

I like taking photos of my car in black and white! It looks so cool! With this being a long exposure, I thought the black and white would take away from the photo, but it didn't at all! The black and white actually helps to me because when the image was in normal color it was REALLY orange because of the street lamp behind me. This photo was taken yesterday though, I couldn't go out today because it has been pouring down rain all day! The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 30 seconds, f/10, ISO 200, the 18-105mm lens, and a post processing black and white filter. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow and come back tomorrow for another photo!!! Bye!

The Beast Will Rip You to Shreds

I really enjoy how this photo makes the front of my car look real mean! The colors really came out too! I really need to take my car out and photograph it in several places. I'm really considering doing a series of photos with my car in different settings. I may give it a shot! There are plenty of different looking places here is Springfield! Wish me luck! This photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/320 of a second, f/1.4, and the 55mm lens! Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow me and come back tomorrow for another photo! Bye!

Flying Lights

So, to be honest I took this photo the other night when I did the Life In The Fast Lane post. But, tonight I seem to have photographers block and the creative portion of my brain is broken so, I am cheating. Oh well. This photo has some interesting lights happening in it that are really weird. I'm not SURE what they are but I think the yellow is the strap of the camera reflecting light from a car as the wind blew it in front of the camera. It wasn't on purpose but it does look interesting. The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 30 seconds, f/22, ISO 200, and the 18-105mm lens. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow me and come back tomorrow for another photo! Bye!

Smoke On The Water

So, this is probably the best photo I got today. Obviously I didn't create anything awesome today. But, I tried to. I was trying to get the smokey water look but, I quickly realized, that that looks way better outside. But, at least when I do get the opportunity to take that photo outside I will know how. The whole reason for the project is to learn, and I did learn. The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 30 seconds, f/16, ISO was the lowest setting, and I used the 18-105mm lens. To take this photo I went into the bathroom, turned off all lights, turned on the water, and used my cell phone flashlight app to highlight the area I felt like I wanted to be lit up. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow me and come back tomorrow for another photo! Bye!

Life In The Fast Lane

I wish there was more traffic!!! But, thanks to my Dad for taking me! My mom didn't want me to be on the side of the road with an expensive camera without someone else there. I also have some lazy friends and family so, my Dad volunteered to go. I just went and stood on a bridge over the highway at night. I am really glad I got this photo! I have been trying to fora while now. It would be even better if there was more traffic and big buildings in the background, but this is what I have to work with. The photo was taken using a 30 second shutter speed, f/22, ISO 200, and, of course, a tripod. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow and come back tomorrow for another photo! Bye!

My Own Starry Night

I can say that this is possibly one of my favorite photos I have ever created. I absolutely love this! I was sitting in the restaurant wondering what I could do and literally thought of a photo JUST LIKE this! I was very happy that I was able to create exactly what I was picturing. I gave it that specific name because the street lamps and the lens flare they create remind me of stars and, I guess, symbolically it really is my starry night because I kind of live in a pretty big city so the street lamps could relate in that way, as stars. The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 10 seconds, f/22, and the 18-105mm lens zoomed all the way out. I really hope you all enjoy this photo as much as I do! Thank you all for viewing my blog and please come back tomorrow for another photo! Don't forget to follow me! BYE!!

Conducting Wings

I love this photo! I shot it today while at the park. It was stretching its wings and I saw it just in time to snap some shots! There are three more of it doing this and they look really cool! Today I spent most of the day at the park taking photos and I posted all of the photos I got on my google+, so go check them out! My google plus name is Jason Allgood. I really appreciate any support! The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/800 of a second, f/5.6, and the 18-105mm lens. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please, come again tomorrow for another photo and press the follow button if you have an account! Thanks! Bye!

Colorful Sky

I got this shot with luck! I walked outside just to look around. I noticed how colorful the sunset was and ran outside with my camera in hopes of getting a good shot! I'm surprised I did. It was sooo cold! I could hardly stop shivering to get a decent photo! But, I did, thankfully! I did up the contrast just a bit to make the colors pop a little more but that is all. The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/20 of a second, f/3.5, and the 18-105mm lens. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow me and come again tomorrow for another photo! Bye!

Bricks

This is the brick wall on the outside of my house. The light source was just from our porch light. I thought it was an interesting photo because of the pattern and the texture of the bricks. I hope to go out one night pretty soon and get some light movement photos. The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/20 of a second, f/3.5, and the 18-105mm lens. Thanks for viewing my blog! Fishy!

So, I'm kind of cheating. I took this photo yesterday. But, I got more than one photo yesterday so, I wanted to put the second of the two best on today's blog. This photo took forever to get. The fish just wouldn't let me take the photo. He finally got in the perfect pose and I shot him! This isn't the best photo but its the best I could get with my equipment and with the fact that I am shooting through a pane of glass on a fish tank! I am really glad no scratches, algae, or snails got in the way! The photo was take with a shutter speed of 1/4000 of a second, f/2.5, and the 50mm lens! Thanks, for viewing my blog! Please follow and come back tomorrow! Bye!

Vines On a Pole

I wanted to get the snow in the photo for today, and I've always wanted to somehow photograph this power line pole because of this huge vine thing hanging on it. I've always kind of found this an interesting subject and do plan on creating more photographs with it. I just need to come up with some ideas! It was really cold outside, like 19 degrees, so I was very cold and was trying to hurry up and get a good photo! Haha! Well, the photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/4000 of a second, f/1.4, and the 50mm lens. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow and come back again tomorrow! Bye!

Suspension Keys

This is a photo of the keys to my Mustang in the ignition. I was inspired to do this photo while sitting in the line at my sisters school I noticed the keys dangling and thought it would create a cool image. So, when I got home I ran outside with the camera to get the shot. I originally took the photo sideways but I turned it upside down and I thought it looks really interesting. The image creates a sense of suspension or an uncomfortable feel, which I find exciting. Its like you're waiting for the keys to drop, but they never will. The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/4000 of a second, f/1.4, and the 50mm lens. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow and come again tomorrow! Bye!

The Last Thing You'll See Of Me

This is the passenger side tail light of my Mustang. I really like how the red light reflects on the chrome and reflects up above the light from having the aperture so open. I enjoy the mystery of the photo, how your sight is limited to the lit area, blocking your view from the rest of the car. It is intriguing to me. I am considering doing a series of photos like this, to eventually reveal the whole car one picture at a time. I liked this photo so much that I ran out to get it printed tonight in time for the art show at school tomorrow! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/80 of a second, f/1.4, and the 50mm lens. Thanks for viewing my blog!! I hope you all enjoy it! Please follow me and come back tomorrow for another photo! Bye!

Its So Late!

Sorry for posting so late! I got distracted and almost forgot! But, it is 2:41 in the morning and I am still posting! This is what I get for putting an Xbox in my bedroom....its like he never leaves!!! Skyrim then MW3 then Skyrim then MW3!! UUGGHHH!! Lol I don't really mind but this late at night it gets slightly annoying! Anyways, back to the photo, I'm not too sure I like the screen reflection in this photo. Some photographers do but, I don't really see the benefits of it in this photo. Its distracting to me but, there was no way around it with the aperture so low. But, if there is a way around it please post a comment letting me know. This photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/60 of a second, f/1.4, and the 50mm lens! Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow and come again tomorrow for another installment in the long photography journey that is the 365 Project! Bye!

Standing Or Laying?

This picture looks really cool to me. I like how it looks like he is standing up against a wall, exactly what I wanted! Although, I probably should have moved the dog bowl or made it look like it was falling. The picture wasn't staged though, so I had little control over the background. I just saw the opportunity and took it before it disappeared. If you look at his face his eyes are right at me. I got the photo just before he jumped out of the frame. He doesn't really like having his picture taken but he'll get over it! For you that don't know, this is my brother. The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/60 of a second, f/1.4, and the 50mm lens! Sorry for missing yesterday's post. I was up really late working on music theory homework and completely forgot about it. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow and come back tomorrow!! Bye!

'68 Mustang Coupe

This is a photo of my '68 Mustang. I have been trying to figure out how to create a good way to incorporate the engine in a photo and it not be like ones I have taken before. I decided to lift the hood and take a photo using the 50mm lens so I could focus on only the engine itself. The 50mm lens created the perfect depth of field for this photo and I am very happy with it. I do realize that there is a significant amount of noise in the photo and I tried to get rid of it without using any editing but i couldn't get the picture I wanted without the noise, so I used a black and white filter to add a sort of journalistic type look with the noise. To me, it looks like it worked pretty well. But, of course, it would look even better without the noise. The photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/60 of a second, and f/1.4. Thanks for viewing my blog! Please follow me and come back tomorrow for another photo!

Unexpected Awesome Sunset

The sunset was really pretty today! I was actually trying to get a specific picture of my car but when I went outside I saw this and just had to photograph it! I've got to say, Missouri has the worst weather but, I've seen some tremendously amazing sunsets here! One weird thing that I did with this photo that I probably shouldn't have is that I used the 50mm lens because I went outside planning on getting a specific picture but I came across this and didn't want to miss it! So, I shot with what I had at the moment. Anyways, I used a shutter speed of 1/4,000 of a second, and f/1.4. I know, really weird settings for a sunset photo, but it worked. So, I don't care haha. Please follow me and come again tomorrow. Thanks for viewing my blog! Bye!

First Day Of 2012-Reezia

This is my new blog! I am doing the 365 project since I enjoyed the December Daily Project. This photo is of Reezia! She is my Siberian Husky, she is really hyper and really dumb. But, she is funny. So, its ok! Haha! This photo was taken with a shutter speed of 1/250 of a second, f/1.4, and the 50mm lens. I really hope to get as many views or even more on this blog and more followers! My New Year's resolution is to get better at photography and to get my name out there and I believe this will help! So, please follow, give me a google+ like thing, and come back tomorrow! Thanks!
